Working in the Peace Corps after earning your Psychology degree
The Peace Corps is a government-supported organization that was started during the administration of President Kennedy, and its mission involves Americans working in other countries. It provides technical assistance in the areas of social and economic development to these countries, at the same time working to have Americans understand other cultures and vice versa. Peace Corps volunteers typically serve for two years and can ask for an extension of service. It must be noted that getting selected to be a Peace Corps volunteer is very selective. One thing you can do to improve your selection chances is to be fluent in a foreign language.
