Moving from your Psychology degree to a Master's degree in Experimental Psychology or Neuroscience--Neuroscience career options
A route you can follow after your Psychology degree is to earn your Master's degree in Experimental Psychology or Neuroscience and then move into a Neuroscience career. The field of Neuroscience studies how the nervous system develops, the structure of the nervous system, and the function of the nervous system. It is a relatively new field of study so there is a vast amount of information still unknown about the nervous. There are three things to keep in mind wif you go the Psychology degree, Master's degree and then Neuroscience career. First, as an Experimental Psychologists or Neuroscientist you will be trained to design and conduct research. Second, it usually requires 2 years of graduate school to complete a master's thesis (research project).
